Katie Andrachuk

City Council • Ward 2 • Etobicoke Centre

Etobicoke Centre for Every Generation.

Toronto is growing, and Etobicoke Centre is growing with it. With the right leadership, we can respond to the realities of today to make this an even better place to live.

Etobicoke Centre should work for everyone at every stage of life, with reliable city services, well-maintained streets and public spaces, thriving local businesses, and neighbourhoods that remain great places to call home.

I was born and raised in Etobicoke Centre, attended local schools, volunteered with local community groups, and have spent most of my life here. I previously served Etobicoke Centre at City Hall as a constituency and policy advisor, working directly with residents to solve problems and advance local priorities. I’ve also worked in both the public and private sectors on major transit, infrastructure, public space, and development projects across Toronto and the region, bringing different interests together to find common ground and deliver better outcomes.

I’m running because I believe you deserve fresh leadership that is responsive, plans for what’s ahead, and gets things done. I would be honoured to serve as your councillor and work every day to make Etobicoke Centre the best it can be.

"I've worked in more than 350 cities around the world, helping communities create healthier, happier, more equitable places to live. I've seen what great cities can achieve, and I know strong leadership makes all the difference.

Katie Andrachuk is exactly the kind of leader Toronto needs. Her extensive experience working with residents, governments, and decision-makers on major city-building projects has given her a deep understanding of how cities work, how to navigate complex challenges, and how to bring people together when it matters.

Katie isn't content to simply maintain the status quo. She sees possibilities for Etobicoke Centre that others overlook and brings the knowledge and determination to pursue them. She understands that improving people's lives isn't about political ideology, but about good ideas, practical solutions, and leadership willing to act.

I believe Katie has what it takes to make Etobicoke Centre a model for the rest of Toronto — setting a new standard for quality of life, health, and happiness for every generation.

I enthusiastically endorse Katie Andrachuk for Toronto City Council."

“Like many Etobicoke residents, I am often disappointed by the work of City Hall. We need a new leader who will take initiative, ask the right questions, and push to get things done. Katie Andrachuk brings a practical, informed, and collaborative approach to City issues and the priorities of Etobicoke Centre.

While property taxes have risen dramatically, basic City services have not kept pace. Grass goes uncut, park washrooms remain closed, our roads are in poor condition, and many local residents have lost fall leaf pickup. Despite having the highest need in the city, Etobicoke Centre still has no community recreation centre eight years after one was approved.

We need an overhaul at City Hall. Katie is a doer—she digs into problems and pushes for solutions. She has the intelligence, energy, and determination to get Etobicoke Centre moving and deliver the results our community has been waiting for.”
